God spoke man into existence. God put him on His earth and let him breathe His oxygen and soak in His sunlight.
God gave the man the terms of peace: believe Him. Trust Him. Believe Him when He says that something is bad for you even though there is absolutely no evidence that it’s bad for you. Believe His words because He is trustworthy. Simply, believe His words.
Man broke the terms of peace with God. Man disbelieved God, disobeyed God, and declared war against God.
The man was the ambassador for all humankind. Since the ambassador of the human race declared war against God, God declared war against the man and the human nation he represented. As a result, God gave the man and all of the human race the legal classification of sinner. The legal punishment due to any persons with the legal classification of sinner is an eternity under the eternal God’s eternal wrath.
God, given that in His cinematic universe He sets the rules, could have justly allowed the man and all of his progeny to be sentenced immediately to the punishment that is assigned to anyone with the legal classification of sinner.
But God decided to make a way for peace to be established between man and God. God sent Jesus Christ into the world to make peace between God and man.
The terms of peace set by Jesus Christ: believe in Him. Trust His words. Trust Him. Believe Him even if all the evidence in the world says otherwise. Believe Him and be granted the legal classification of righteous before God. For the righteous shall live by faith in the God who spoke them into existence.
God determined the benefits of being at peace with God: Knowing God Himself.
Believe in Jesus Christ. Believe in God.
“And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” – John 17:3 (ESV)
